Full Root-level Access
What does the full root-level access option imply? What privileges will it bestow you with? How to log into your server as root?
If you have root-level access to a server, this means that you will have full control of it. In other words, you can install any server-side application no matter what the changes that it'll make to the software environment on your server, and you are able to both access and customize any kind of file, including system files, and change various settings. You can do this by connecting to the server as a root user which has full privileges to do all these things as well as to create other users, including users who also have full privileges. This connection can be established using a web-based graphical interface or a Secure Shell console. For safety reasons, it's recommended that you make one more user for your everyday work and use the root user only when you have to modify the server or to set up software which may be needed by some script-driven application that you would like to run.

Full Root-level Access in VPS Servers
You can control your new VPS servers at the root level whatever the package which you've chosen, as long as the server is ordered with either the cPanel or the DirectAdmin web hosting Control Panel, or devoid of Control Panel at all. In the first case, a number of system settings can be controlled via an easy to navigate web-based interface, while in the second, you will have to do everything through a console, until you decide to install a Control Panel yourself. In either case, you will have full control over the VPS in addition to any system and / or custom content on it at all times, which makes this kind of hosting perfect for any application which you cannot run with a shared web hosting account due to the limited degree of access - frameworks, VoIP and audio/video streaming software, and so on. The last VPS Control Panel choice is Hepsia, but the root access to your server will be restricted.
- Full Root-level Access in Dedicated Servers
Each and every dedicated server that we supply comes with full root-level access, when the server is ordered without a Control Panel, or with cPanel or DirectAdmin. If you want to install and run heavy, resource-demanding applications and they have special requirements with regard to the server software environment that cannot be fulfilled by an ordinary shared website hosting plan, our servers will be the perfect solution. Without any Control Panel at hand, you will be able to access the server and modify its settings as well as the content which you upload using a console, while with cPanel and DirectAdmin, you will use a graphical interface to manage everything related to your web content, as well as the majority of server-side settings. Needless to say, if you get a dedicated server devoid of Control Panel, you can always set up a third-party tool manually, as long as it is compatible with the OS that you've selected at registration. If you choose the Hepsia Control Panel from the order page, you'll have restricted root access, however you will still be able to perform a number of things using a Secure Shell console. - Full Root-level Access in Dedicated Servers
